I've been in love with James Turrell's work since I saw his show at Palais de Tokyo in Paris 20 maybe 30 years ago.  I never dreamed I'd see his work in the Yucatan this year.  Artforum covered the Phillip Glass concert to celebrate the end of the 13th Baktun last month when the art world gathered under the stars to celebrate the the inauguration of Turrell's amphitheater with a Phillip Glass concert.
